Why the Chinese Canadian Leaders laments CSIS Spy Allegation

Dear Editor:

Recently the National Congress of Chinese Canadians (NCCC) expressed their anxiety about CSIS Fadden's warning of foreign influence in Canada. I can't really blame the NCCC for getting nervous about that. After all, isn't the NCCC just another front organization for Beijing?

Dennis Kucinich Announces Two Important House Votes

This week we have two very important votes for the future of this country and the future of the world. The first deals with Pakistan - House Concurrent Resolution 301, and the second deals with supplemental funding which will provide another 33-billion dollars to keep the War in Afghanistan going. I would like to speak to you briefly about both of those votes.

  – This week, 17 organizations and individuals wrote to the Minister of Foreign Affairs Lawrence Cannon requesting the government of Canada to declare Liu Shaohua, first secretary of the education section at the Chinese Embassy in Ottawa, to be persona non grata for his role in mobilizing Chinese students and scholars to suppress Canadian protesters.
